Blaze Recycling & Metals Orders Additional Harris HS 98115 Shredder

Blaze Recycling & Metals, Atlanta, Georgia, has announced the purchase of  another Harris HS 98115 Shredder system to be installed in their Phenix City, AL facility.
The Harris HS 98115 shredder system ordered by Blaze includes an Infeed Conveyor, HS 98115 Shredder mill with feed system, a 6,000 HP wound motor drive and complete downstream ferrous separation system including a “zero emissions” air system. An online/ off-line non-ferrous material separation system completes the plant.The Harris HS 98115 shredder commissioned in 2004 at Blaze Recycling’s Lawrenceville facility currently shreds over 20,000 tons per month of obsolete cars, trucks, appliances, and sheet metal into recyclable commodities. The HS 98115 is capable of producing over 150 tons of ferrous scrap per hour.
