Atlantic Scrap & Processing Purchases Harris HS98115 Shredder System

Peachtree City, GA, June 9, 2006

Harris Waste Management Group, Inc. announced the sale of a comprehensive, state-of-the-art 98115 Shredder system to Atlantic Scrap & Processing of Kernersville, North Carolina. The system is designed for maximum production and efficiency and features a complete ferrous downstream, as well as a state of the art control and production management system. The system will be installed in Atlantic Scrap’s new Wilmington, North Carolina operation and should be in operation in the fall of this year. The heart of the plant, a Harris Shredder HS98115 shredder, will feature a 6000 HP Toshiba drive motor, a complete infeed system with Harris’ heavy-duty double feed roll system and a low maintenance disc rotor manufactured by Harris Shredder. When operational the shredder plant will have the capability of processing over 200 tons per hour. The dry downstream material separation system is engineered by Harris Shredder utilizing other high qualitysuppliers.
